PolyCopy Alternative: How It Compares

PolyCopy is the best-known copy trading tool on Polymarket and it earned that position. If you are weighing it against something else, two things decide what a copy trading tool actually costs you: how it gets the authority to move your money, and what it charges on every trade. The rest is secondary.

How PolyCopy gets permission to trade for you

PolyCopy describes itself as non-custodial: “Non-custodial execution. Your keys, your capital.” Their onboarding describes something more specific. It walks you through exporting your private key from Polymarket and pasting it into PolyCopy. Their FAQ then states that “your wallet's private key stays with Turnkey,” and that a separate session key signs the trades you authorize.

That is a deliberate architecture. PolyCopy's own servers never see a raw key, but the key does leave your wallet, and a third party holds it so that it can sign on your behalf. Whether you are comfortable with that should settle more than any feature comparison.

BlockRotate takes a different route. Your bot runs with its own Polygon wallet, and setup issues scoped L2 credentials instead of your wallet key. Those credentials can place orders and cannot move funds out. A compromised bot can make trades you did not want. It cannot empty the account. We wrote up how the L2 credential model works if you want to compare the two mechanisms properly.

The cost that scales

PolyCopy's free tier is free in the way that matters. It is $0 forever rather than a trial that expires. Premium costs $30 a month, and a 7-day trial covers the start.

The fee that grows with you is the per-order charge. PolyCopy takes 0.5% of every order, taker or maker, listed on their pricing page as a Polymarket builder fee charged on top of Polymarket's own fees. That is not a monthly cost. It is a cost per trade, and copy trading generates a lot of trades.

The 0.5% at different volumes

$10,000 mirrored per month$50 in fees
$50,000 mirrored per month$250 in fees
$250,000 mirrored per month$1,250 in fees

Calculated from PolyCopy's published 0.5% per-order fee, before their $30 monthly Premium. Run your own volume against it.

BlockRotate is free during beta and charges nothing per order. Paid tiers are on the way, and the pricing page will say what they are before they start.

Where PolyCopy is the better choice

PolyCopy has built a discovery layer that BlockRotate does not have. A public leaderboard, a Copy Score for ranking traders, and Polycopy-maintained Strategy Bots all give you somewhere to start when you do not already know whose trades you want to follow. If finding traders is the problem you are solving, that is a real advantage and we have no equivalent to point you to.

They also say something on their pricing page that most competitors avoid. “You fill after the trader, into a book their own trade has moved, and usually a bit worse. Speed does not remove that. It is the spread.” That is an honest description of copy trading's structural cost, and it argues against latency as a headline benefit. Our position is that faster execution narrows the gap without closing it, which is a weaker claim than “sub-1ms solves this” and a truer one. Read both and decide for yourself.

What BlockRotate does differently

The bot runs with its own wallet, and the credentials it holds can trade without being able to withdraw. You can run it in paper trading mode against live market data before committing anything, and the risk controls cover daily loss limits, slippage caps, momentum filters that block trades during fast price movement, and per-market exposure limits. Setup takes a few minutes and needs no code.

Common questions

Do I have to hand over my private key?

To BlockRotate, no. Your bot gets a dedicated wallet and scoped L2 credentials rather than your wallet key. PolyCopy's own onboarding asks you to export and paste your Polymarket private key, which their FAQ says is then held by Turnkey.

Can I use either tool if I am in the United States?

Both sit on top of Polymarket, so the same geographic restrictions apply. PolyCopy states that Polymarket blocks US users and tells readers not to use a VPN to get around it. Our own summary of the rules is on the Polymarket legal status page.

Is BlockRotate actually free?

Yes, during beta, with no per-order fee. Paid tiers are coming and will be published before they start. You still pay Polymarket's own fees and Polygon gas on any trade, whichever tool you use.

What if I switch tools later?

Your positions live in your Polymarket account, not in the tool. Anything that copies trades can be stopped without touching your holdings, though you should check what authority you granted and revoke it. If you exported a key, revoke or rotate it after you stop using the service.

Competitor details were verified against each vendor's own website in September 2026 and can change without notice. Check the vendor's pricing and terms pages before making a decision, and treat our own claims with the same scepticism — check ours too. BlockRotate and PolyCopy are independent tools. Neither is affiliated with or endorsed by Polymarket.
