Best Polymarket Traders to Copy (2026)

Polymarket publishes a leaderboard ranked by profit and volume. It shows who made the most money in a window. Whether you could copy that wallet at the same prices, or whether the result came from a repeatable edge, is a separate question.

This page uses a different ranking. BlockRotate's discovery engine scores wallets on risk-adjusted return, sample size, win-rate calibration, and copyability, then removes wallets flagged for wash trading, oracle sniping, or CTF arbitrage. The table below refreshes every five minutes.

How this ranking works

AlphaRank is a 0 to 100 score. It combines realized PnL, the Sortino ratio, a Wilson-adjusted win rate, the number of resolved markets, and a copyability score. Sortino penalizes downside volatility. The Wilson adjustment pulls small samples toward the mean, so a wallet with 20 trades cannot outrank a wallet with 400 on the strength of a hot week.

Copyability measures whether a follower could fill the same trades. It looks at taker share, median hold time, and whether the wallet depends on arbitrage or token merges. A wallet that merges CTF tokens on-chain or holds a position for seconds can post a strong PnL and still be impossible to follow. The discovery engine drops those wallets before they reach the table.

The exclusions matter as much as the score. Our study of the top 100 monthly wallets found that 50 reported a monthly PnL larger than their own all-time realized PnL. Headline rank and cash earnings are not the same number. The study explains the reconciliation.

How to choose a trader to copy

Check the sample size

Look for at least 100 resolved markets over three months. A wallet with 12 trades and a 90% win rate has not shown enough to judge. The Wilson win rate in the table above already adjusts for this, but the raw market count is worth reading too.

Read realized PnL

Open positions can inflate a leaderboard figure. Check what the wallet actually closed, and whether the income came from trading or from rebates and refunds.

Use risk-adjusted return

A 70% win rate with a few large losses can lose money. Sortino and profit factor tell you more than win rate alone. A leaderboard sorts by direction, not by risk.

Match the category

A politics specialist who made money in an election may not have an edge in sports. Pick a trader whose category matches the markets you want exposure to, and check whether the record holds outside one event.

Check copyability

If the wallet holds positions for seconds or merges tokens on-chain, a copy bot will fill late or not at all. The copyability score filters for this. Check copyability before PnL.

Red flags in a top trader's record

  • Most of the PnL comes from one market. Concentration is not a repeatable edge.
  • A high win rate paired with a profit factor below 1. Many small wins can conceal one large loss.
  • Income from rebates or refunds rather than settled trades.
  • A strategy that depends on oracle sniping or latency the copier cannot match.
  • Volume from washed trades or transfers between wallets the same person controls.

The live table already excludes wallets flagged for wash trading, oracle sniping, and CTF arbitrage. The list is a shortlist, not a recommendation. Treat every wallet as a candidate until its record survives these checks.

How to copy a trader with BlockRotate

Pick a wallet from the table. Start the 14-day trial and run it in paper mode against live market data. Set a copy ratio, a maximum slippage, per-market and total exposure caps, and the momentum filter. Review the simulated fills against the leader's entries. If the fill quality holds after a few weeks, switch the bot to live trading.

BlockRotate runs each bot with a dedicated wallet and scoped L2 credentials. You do not hand over your master key. The first paid plan is $29 per month after the trial.

Copy trading carries risk. A leader's past PnL does not guarantee your fills, and you can lose money. Start with an amount you can afford to lose, and check that you are eligible to trade on Polymarket in your jurisdiction.

FAQ

Who are the best Polymarket traders to copy?

There is no fixed list. The table on this page ranks the current top wallets by AlphaRank and refreshes every five minutes. Use it to shortlist candidates, then check sample size, realized PnL, and copyability before you copy.

Can I copy a trader from Polymarket's leaderboard?

Yes, with a third-party bot. Polymarket has no native copy-trading feature. A bot monitors the leader's wallet and places matching orders in your account. Check that the bot supports your venue and jurisdiction before you sign up.

Is Polymarket copy trading profitable?

Results vary by trader and period. They depend on the leader's edge, your fill prices, fees, and position sizing. Our leaderboard research shows why headline PnL overstates skill. Paper trade a wallet before you risk capital.

What is AlphaRank?

A 0 to 100 score from BlockRotate's discovery engine. It combines risk-adjusted return, sample size, win-rate calibration, and copyability. Wallets flagged for wash trading, oracle sniping, or CTF arbitrage are excluded from the ranking.

How often does this list update?

The table refreshes every five minutes from the discovery engine. The guidance around it is reviewed when the ranking method changes.

Do I need to share my private keys?

No. BlockRotate runs each bot with a dedicated wallet and scoped L2 credentials, so you keep custody of your funds.
